What a wonderful idea with the hair dye...our eldest (and youngest) have been wanting to dye their hair for ages, i have been worried about getting it on their scalp! This might be a goer:)
"School" years start in January here, but one day i think we might organise a "not back to school" event:)

I forgot to ask what kind of dye you used?

You can also use a cap, but really if you don't want it on their scalp dip dying is the best way to go - you don't actually dip it, it just looks that way.
We used two different brands - this is the 4th time we are dying her hair and we used the leftovers from before - The purple and the green are RAW and the turquoise/blue is Manic Panic.
The purple is really strong, but also rubs off for a few days, no matter how much it is initially rinsed.
We tried the route before of stripping her hair first, but she is just not patient enough to wait that long and it didn't really make the color last that much longer.
Good Luck!

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
