I try and keep Mondays & Wednesdays as stay days. Tuesdays and Thursdays are swimming days and park days. I try and get appointments for the afternoons on those days. We will also be starting a co-op on Thursdays in September.

I also love to stay home on Sundays. I am not quite sure why.

I agree with you that a balance is very necessary. We have weeks that are very busy and then weeks that are very unscheduled. It helps, I think, if you can be somewhat flexible to the odd unexpected playdate or adventure. But our kids don't need to be in "activity" after "activity" either!

Glad to meet you!

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
