what was it, again? So "Blog" is supposed to be short for web log. At first, I thought this referred to a sort of diary of postings to a website. But upon reading some of the others that are out there, I think "log," in this case, is a euphemism for solid natural digestive wastes. In other words:

Rather than use this rather vile and disgusting lingo, I shall instead refer to my installments -- assuming there are to some day be continued and multiple postings -- as "WEb ASsisted E-Letters," or "weasels."
