Leros:
There are two great options for dinner or lunch when you enter Panteli beach in Leros. One is immediately on the shore and the other one is short walking distance in Ag Marina.

Zorbas is a traditional taverna on the sea; the white & blue interior attracts you immediately. There is a tiny little bar just behind Zorbas so if you would like to keep on partying you don't have to walk much.

Mylos Fish Restaurant is a family run fish restaurant. Don't forget to enjoy your first drinks on the terrace while enjoying the sunset. We almost ordered everything on the menu (4kg grouper, octopus, sea urchin, Greek salad, calamari, mezes) and all was super delicious. The cheese covered with kadayif (crispy fried dough) was my favourite.

Patmos:
The harbour (Skala) is nice for strolling and shopping; Lands is a very nice little shop with high quality beach towels (pestemal) and ceramics.

Chora (the capital city) is the first place to visit in Patmos with its monastery, whitewashed houses, narrow streets from 15th century. Early morning and afternoon is the best time to climb up to Hora. We had sunset drinks at Jimmy's Balcony which is a tiny bar/restaurant located on top of Hora with bird's-eye view. If Jimmy visits your table; feel free to ask him to take your photos; he loves to do :)

After drinks we climbed up to the monastery and took some photos. Dinner was at Vangelis Tavern which is a classic Greek restaurant. The food was mediocre but the atmosphere is lovely. The tiny little square where this restaurant is located feels like a film set.

Thalami Bar Chora is the coolest bar I have ever been to. Behind the tiny little bar counter the owner prepares the cocktails and his wife helps for the service. Although inside is super cozy there is not much space so you can have your drinks outside the bar as well.

Lipsi:
Out of all the islands visited, Lipsi was the most "untouched" still living in the 80s. Skip any of the restaurants in the tiny harbour and head straight to the courtyard behind the church where a mother-daughter run operation will make you eat your fingers! There is a great bakery nearby as well.

What we will remember from our week sailing the Greek Islands was the color of the sea and playing with octopus.
