My copy of the Cramps' "Surfin' Bird" 45 is feeling naked without a business card to accompany it. Please send yours along and it'll improve your place in queue.

This must be a mistake. I don't see a copy of the first Blue Shoes' single ANYWHERE in there.
All Blue Shoes singles are now deliberately left behind in the hope that Daniel will pick 'em and add some meat to his mortifying bulk hauls.

Hey Cool Dude. Great Blog. I was in an Antique Store in Sydney, Australia the other day & saw a bunch of those Vikings you collect for sale. Lemme know if you want me to send you some pictures of them. As an aside, I particularly liked your reply to the Anonymous comment about your house being "tacky".
Hey, My Dog, thanks for the kind words! This place is currently overrun with vikings, but we're still in need of a Chosen Few EP, both Young Identities singles, the Fun Things EP, etc. Goddamn, your country put out some of the best records and they're getting tougher to find with each passing year!
As far as that early arbiter of good taste: they never made good with sending us photos of their place, and we're still totally in the dark when it comes to fixing this place up to their sophistication level. Needless to say, that remains one of our favorite responses to the blog so far, too.
Thanks again for the note.
Best, GG&S

[Image]It should come as no surprise that domestic and international punk and indie records bind much of our collective aesthetic. For the past year or so, we've been populating our Flickrphotostreamwith examples of our favorite releases from this bygone era. Since we just completed Porky Prime Cuts moments ago, it seemed fitting to hip y'all to the tasty items contained therein. Enjoy!
PS: If you feel that your favorite Punk or New Wave outfit has been slighted by our omission, please feel free to remit (clean) copies of their vinyl releases for further study and evaluation. Submitted materials will not be returned.
PPS: This offer extends especially to Australians.
