Call me Ned but I've had a feeling all year that Orlando is going to do something good to
great in the playoffs. I have nothing to base
this on but there it is

I say leave off Gore. Orlando is pinch-runner fast. Maybe not Gore fast, but the Royals aren't running the Olympic track-and-field events here, they're playing baseball, and the added speed of Gore over Orlando isn't significant enough to make a real game difference.

2014 WC game, 8th inning on the mound for Oakland: Luke Gregerson

2015 ALDS, Game 4, 8th inning on the mound for Houston: Luke Gregerson

I'm not saying. I'm just saying.

Is it too much to ask for a blog update, or should we wait until tomorrow night for superstition purposes? If I was Ned, I would have Young/Medlen warming up with Cueto. Just saying...

Belated Comment: I have no problem with Ned keeping his favorite toy on the roster in the first two series, but in the World Series, with 2 or 3 games under NL rules, he needs Gomes bat on the bench far more than he will ever need Gore. Gomes should be on the WS roster.

I just wanted to say thanks to you Rany for all of the years of great Royals pieces.

And hopefully we'll soon have that "OMG MONKEY BANANAS WHAT? THE ROYALS ARE WORLD CHAMPS!" post.
