I think a number of people probably punched their ticket into the Royals Hall of Fame with the World Series berth. A World Series win would just allow them to make the first installment on the bronzing of the statues. I am not say any of this is a bad thing as the Royals have struggled in recent years to find qualified people to induct in to the Royals Hall of Fame. Lets win a World Series and argue about our new class the rest of the winter!

Feeling your pain, Rany. I'm in Australia, trying to soak all this up from afar after living in KC in the late '90s, early '00s. Enjoy the K the next couple of days.

At some point after the series I would like to start a conversation about MLB and post-season tickets. But for now I am going to enjoy the moment of the world series.

Grew up in KC during Brett years and went to school/worked in SF during Bonds years. I am a Royals AND Giants fan. This is a once in a lifetime occurance. It must be kismet that you have decided to end this blog and it coincides with the most unlikely Royals season ever (maybe most unlikely run by a team ever). I'll miss your posts, Rany, though I know you'll pop up in other places. I'm just going to hope it goes 7 games and propels both teams to continued success.
