It's not bad as in it's not snowing 2-4 inches. It's still only 35 degrees.

Regardless, I'd still rather be at the game than sitting here at work on a day that I had requested off for 2 months ago.

are you of the opinion that Hochevar will never be more than a serviceable 4th or 5th starter?

Trey Hillman's job isn't important enough to make the list?

It looks like my dream of 2 straight (or Wed or Thurs) snow/rainouts isn't going to happen, so I'm going to be stuck watching Ponson at the Home Opener. And the weather forecast for Friday seems to have turned for the worse. Perfect.

I'm sure Rany will be thrilled to learn what's going on in Hillman's head:
"Look for veteran Kyle Farnsworth to get the ball Tuesday in the eighth inning — instead of Juan Cruz or Ron Mahay — if the Royals are looking to bridge a lead to closer Joakim Soria.

“With the effectiveness that he’s shown (in spring training),” manager Trey Hillman said, “it would probably be Kyle. But those three guys can rotate between the seventh and eighth on any given day depending on upcoming schedule, times up and usage." (from KC Star).

At least the White Sox are not a home run hitting team.

I once traded Jim Thome for Dan Reichert

Somehow, I feel less ashamed of "Sammy Sosa for Joey Cora" now.
