We visited the Church orchard a few days ago to pick some apples. I didn't know apples could get sunburns, but they do. (You just never see them at the store.) They look like a bruise, but they're not, they're just a discoloration. Still tastes fine. Mmmmmm.   =)

We watched the 2006 Europa Super Show yesterday via the live webcast. We caught about ½ of the pre-judging round and most of the men's finals. If you missed the show, check out the free replay online. Congratulations to Toney Freeman on his victory!

Well, round 7 of Oil Fight is coming to a close, and I'm not doing well. I'm still battling for the #25 slot. I did much better last round. Sigh.

We had a nice family visit this past from Darlene and Bonny. They came up to spend a few days, and hang out before school starts. They also enjoyed the orchard and the State Fair (as mentioned in a previous post) with us, amongst other fun activities.   =)

Oh, and I'm an idiot about the Google ad problem I mentioned in my last post, as it was just my FireFox Adblock extension filtering out the ad. Duh.
