We watched two movies recently. "Transporter 2" (2005; Jason Statham), but it contains too much language, frankly, and contains some definite immodesty, but it's a sweet car flick, especially if you enjoyed the first one. Can't recommend it, though.
"King Kong" (2005; Jack Black, Andy Serkis) was the other one. Wow, this one is way too long - and it also contains too much language. Overall, a definite snoozer. The dinosaurs and the nasty bug parts were the only redeeming 10 minutes of an otherwise long and boring 3-hour long dud.
It's been pretty hot lately, with high temps in the low 100's over the past couple of weeks. With the high temps, however, comes lots of subshine, which led us outdoors to do some more caching. More on that later.
We'll, it turns out that my friend Ryan DeLuca is officially cool. He was featured by Inc. Magazine as # 5 of the Top "30 Under 30" - a list of the coolest young entrepreneurs in America. Nice.
I heard some interesting Danko Jones tunes lately on several podcasts from their new "Sleep Is The Enemy" album. It's not the worst music I've heard lately. I can't figure out why so many people like them, though - they're not that good.
