And, ah, the joys of modular arithmetic: the important thing to remember about the modulus is that the decimal remainder needs to be multiplied by the divisor, not the dividend, to get the actual whole number answer (e.g., 14 % 26 = 14 [fourteen modulo twenty-six equals fourteen] because 26 goes into 14 zero times, with a remainder of 14; or in other words, 14 / 26 = .5384615, which when multiplied by 26 equals 14). Fun stuff.
