I finally got a chance to check out the new Bonus Mission Pack for Guild Wars this weekend. So far I have found it quite entertaining.

Essentially you get four new missions from key events in the past. Each story line relates to a particular campaign; D'Alessio and the White Mantle are for Prophecies, Young Togo is for Factions, Turai Ossa for Nightfall, and Gwen for Eye of the North.

The rewards for completing each mission and their optional 'discoveries' are rather substantial and allow you to choose a weapon that you can upgrade. The missions themselves are fresh and have fun, unique objectives. My biggest disappointment with them is that they must be done solo without friends.

If you are a Guild Wars fanatic these seem like a fun diversion to take your mind off of the very distant Guild Wars 2.
