Yes you are right. And it can be also said that a motion picture can be presented in the form of an animation film apart from many other forms of animation that exists. Animation is a discovery of creative art in the form that needs a perfect blend of art and concentration.

Over at his blog, Walsh-O-Matic, he has the first part of an interview with stopmo animator Payton Curtis. Curtis recently worked on Coraline and The Fantastic Mr. Fox and talks about the process of animating on a stop motion feature.
