Recently, on John K's blog he asked this question regarding the Disney cartoon Donald's Cousin Gus: "Hey, does anybody know who animated the opening scenes to this cartoon? Gus walking to the mailbox and then the front door?"
I looked up the credits for the cartoon and only 3 names are listed -- Lee Morehouse, Wolfgang Reitherman, and Don Towsley. I was wondering if you knew who animated that scene? Were there any other uncredited animators who worked on the cartoon?
J.J, I think you should ask Hans Perk your question over at http://afilmla. blogspot.com. I don't know if Hans has the draft for this cartoon, but that's probably the best way to find the answer.
Alberto Ruiz, David Coleman, Joe Weatherly and Stephen Silver will be appearing at The Labyrinth bookstore, 386 Bloor Street West, on Saturday, August 25, 7:30-9. More details here and here. I regret that I'm going to miss this as I'm out of the country, but anyone within 100 miles of Toronto should make the effort to be there.
