I only caught the end of this presentation and was upset that it had to be rushed to accomadate Disney.

Glad I got the run-down now...

I definetly think that there should be more presentations in general at Sheridan - it really motivates the students to try harder, especially after the particularly unmotivating strike which broke the momentum for the school year. Great to see that Pixar, Disney, and JibJab all made it down in the few weeks that they could!

uI absolutely agree with what u said in those few paragraphs Jib Jab seems to be using there heads, it not about being a follower but beinging a leader in the sense that your not afraid to express your points of view and feeling to the world instead of falling in line like the next corg or bolt to be used the discarded. Excellent point all around take care!!!

Hi Mark. I actually did a double take when I saw our logo on the page! Thank you very much for the kind review of my presentation. Gregg and I have always been BIG believers in the opportunity that the web offers independent creators and small studios. We've been at this 6 1/2 years and it's really exciting to see more and more artists getting online. It's a wide open field and there are sure to be a few talented folks/teams that wind up making a big mark! Thanks again!

Hi Evan. I don't think my write-up did justice to all the areas you covered in your excellent presentation. I was introduced to you briefly by Dave Quesnelle, but didn't grab a business card from you.

My one complaint about the JibJab website is the lack of contact info. I'm assuming you have a back door of some sort for client contacts, but I don't see any obvious way to email you. If you want to let me know how to reach you, my email is markmayerson(at)rogers(dot)com.

Keep doing those presentations wherever you can. They're genuinely valuable. I've had my share of frustrations with gatekeepers and I think that pop culture would be a lot more interesting if we managed to go around them.

I don't know if you've ever gone to the Ottawa Animation Festival, but it's held annually in September. I think that your presentation would go over well there and if you like, I can put you in touch with Chris Robinson, who is the director of the festival.

Best of luck on the projects you're trying to launch.
