I do feel bad for you Jessica and understand your feelings of helplessness. The very same thing happened here in Cohocton. A scenic little village that is now a monstrosity on an ugly map of delusion.

I would check with real estate property law on disclosure. It is quite possible the seller breached his/her duty to you by failing to disclose the project to you the buyer. You may be able to render the sale null and void or/and be compensated for your damages - due to this industrialization of your residence, your property is worth much less than you paid for it.
