I compliment you on raising awareness on the carbon emissions
associated with wind turbine development. I assume that it was my previous calculations (published on CWW, and in public speeches and newspapers in NY,
and elsewhere) that you used regarding carbon emissions. Previously primarily with the Institute for Energy Research now primarily at Pacific Research, I have talked and spoken about the life cycle costs (in terms of
carbon dioxide) of wind turbines. In my calculations, I account for the low capacity factor of wind turbines--and that is already accounted for in the seven years for breakeven(about--many variables make it a little shorter
others make it a bit longer.) Your last conversion from seven to 28 years I believe is incorrect and double counts the capacity factor.
