[Image] We just lost a big name in the world of monsters, folks. I was informed earlier this week by fellow Monsterologist Tim Ferrante that "The Phantom of the Movies", Joe Kane has passed away. Mr. Kane wrote about movies (mostly of the category known as "cult") for decades. He is perhaps most fondly remembered by monster fans as the editor of THE MONSTER TIMES, that unique monster mag as newspaper that had a surprisingly long run. Kane's first issue as editor of TMT was #11. In his memory, here it is -- in my opinion a fitting tribute that can say more than just words. Rest in peace, Joe and thanks for the great monster memories!
