I was one of those kids during the original broadcasts of Dark Shadows that ran home from school (2 miles!) to get home in time to watch the daily episode. The cliffhangers kept me coming back, and of course, Barnabas and the rest of the "monsters". Thanks for being a regular reader of MMW -- it's nice to know that you're out there!
