Right after Xander's program, we checked Mara out early, from  the last day of school, and got on the road to St. George!!!!
Mana wanted to have another family trip with everyone, and so we decided on St George and seeing  Peter Pan at Tuacahn! It just so happened that we would be there on Jaina's birthday, so we made  sure to make it fun for her. She was just happy to sleep at a hotel and go swimming!
We caravaned with Mana & Karri and Mara and Conli rode with them.

We got to St George with enough time to get some dinner and go see X-Men: Apocalypse on opening night!

Karri was so nice and stayed at the hotel with these 4 girls.

The next morning, Saturday, May 28th, was Jaina's 6th birthday!!!!! All she wanted to do was swim & swim & swim.  We started out at the continental breakfast then headed to the pool!

This was the first time in a pool this year so Melody was a little weary.

We swam for most of the morning. Mara stayed at the pool with cousins, while  the rest of us showered and got ready for the activities of the rest of the day.

On our way to the next activity, we found a comic book shop and had fun with a giant Wall-E.

Another of Jaina's requests for her birthday was to play Laser Tag.  Luckily there was a fun center in town that had exactly what she wanted. Playing on the rides while we waited for our turn.

Melody was running on fumes (no nap) so we just tried to keep her happy/occupied.

After laser tag, we bowled!!!! It had been a long time since we did that, so I was excited.  [Image]

Sadly, Melody was super cranky. She was crying and screaming and that made  Pat and I get really irritated with each other and the situation. After much pacing,  shushing and bouncing, she finally fell asleep with me. We were able to put her in  the stroller and she slept there for at least 30 mins, which made a world of difference.

When Melody woke up we had her play too. She seemed to like it.

She only ate the whipped cream, so I was able to eat the rest, yum!!

Jaina got these glasses at the fun center and loved wearing them. She called them her 'alarm glasses'.

We were able to use their child care program and  dropped Melody  off to play, watch movies and have snacks while we saw the play!
I'm always excited to see Peter Pan, no matter where it's being  performed. It's my most favorite and makes me think of my  childhood, watching Mary Martin's Peter Pan all the time on video.
