We set out Friday morning at 6 AM and traveled to Boise to visit Pat's brother Ben & his family. On the way we ate breakfast in Tremonton at an "Old McDonald's" (as Xander says) and the kids were so happy because there was a Play Place!!!![Image] [Image] We brought along some Kool-Aid Bursts for the car ride. I'm always surprised when things make the kids tongues change colors. [Image] We were able to go out to lunch with our friends Andy & Amber on our way. Thanks again for letting us drop in on you!!
We arrived in Boise around 2 and just hung out for the evening. The boys played video games and the girls just chilled. We were planning on going boating on Saturday, but it was overcast & rainy, so we had to make other plans. The boys & Bryton decided to go see 'GI Joe', so Me, Amber and our girls went shopping!!!! When we got back we put a movie on for Mara & Aubrey and they had a great time!! [Image] After playing around and having fun, we decided to go out to Texas Roadhouse for dinner! I LOVE TEXAS ROADHOUSE! [Image] Mara & Aubrey (they were practically inseparable the whole time!) [Image]I hope someday Mara will look at the camera![Image] The Boys: Caden (almost 11) & Spencer (9) [Image] My SIL Amber and their youngest Brody (almost 2) [Image] Me & The Girls: Mara, Aubrey (4), Me, & Bryton (6) [Image] Amber & I had talked about using my Cricut and making a birthday banner for her, so I brought it up with me and we made 2 banners and some fun Halloween people for decorations, and some dinosaurs for Brody's room! I didn't get pictures of all of it, but here are the people. (It's the Paper Dolls Cartridge) [Image] All of the kids wanted something big, so Caden & Bryton got Dinosaurs, and Xander, Aubrey, & Mara all wanted Ghosts! [Image] We went to church this morning, then played around until 3:30. Amber & I were able to finish the projects that we started :) We got home a little after 9 tonight. It was a really fun weekend, even though we didn't do what we had originally planned. Pat & I love being able to spend time with family and wished that we could go to Boise more often to spend time with Ben & Amber. Thanks again for having us, We Love You!!
