Jaina had woken up in the middle of the night and felt scared. I usually send her back to bed because Pat and I wake up early, but she lucked out and it was a Friday night. So I let her sleep on the floor next to our bed. In the morning she was up earlier than we wanted to be awake, so I let her play on my phone to keep her quiet. When I got my phone back I found that she had taken a bunch of selfies. She really loves the camera and taking pictures. [Image] Jaina is doing great in Kindergarten. She is loving to draw pictures, write words and make 'books'. [Image] Pat got down his Death Star Lego and Melody immediately ran over to play with it. I love that Legos appeal to everyone, big or small, male or female. [Image] We took advantage of $5 Tuesday at the Megaplex theater and went to see the newDisney movie Zootopia. It was a lot of fun and we were able to see it with my whole family!! [Image] The kids loved being able to sit by cousins for the movie. Oh how I love Lisa's selfie stick, perfect for groupies!!! [Image] I can't remember why or how, buy Melody was able to convince me to take a walk around the block. I loved that she held my hand the whole time and was so excited to see everything around her. [Image] We were finally able to buy a new dining table and chairs!!! We've been using a hand-me-down table from Morri and Liza since we moved into the house 4 years ago. We got it from the Wayfair website and it is a perfect addition to the house!! [Image] I'm so happy that we don't have to deal with a high chair anymore and that we have a lot more room with the new table. [Image] March 10th marked 12 years since dad died. I love that we always get together for the day to celebrate him. We started the night with a Wendy's dinner/picnic at the cemetary. [Image] [Image] Jaina was insistent on bringing her blanket brown to use at the picnic. [Image] Of course, Melody couldn't be contained to eat her dinner, but she was happy to mooch off of Karri's frosty. [Image] [Image] [Image] Mara was sweet and walked around with Melody while we cleaned up. [Image] JD is a pro at the groupie and didn't even need a stick to do it. [Image] [Image] Karri and I ran over to see Grandma and Grandpa. [Image] Then did a selfie with dad. [Image] After the cemetary we headed to mom's to have a movie viewing night. Dad's favorite thing was to watch certain scenes from his favorite movies, with the sound way up to show off the sound system. We watched a few Bonds, The Matrix and Star Trek. It was a little too loud for Jaina at times. [Image] Melody was mesmerized by it all. [Image] It was fun to be together doing the things that dad liked to do. It was such a great way to celebrate him. [Image]
