I would add that while anti-homosexual bigotry from Republican closet cases is particularly pathetic and sad, anti-homosexual bigotry from straight Republicans is just as destructive. And the Democrats need to stand up on this. I'm tired of the Democrats being the "less gay hating" political party. I want them to say "Gay people should be able to marry each other. This is an issue about fairness."
