TPM:Sen. Webb (D-VA) on the president's veto: "We won this war four years ago. The question is when we end the occupation."Glad to hear Democrats talking like this. I would go further and question whether we really won four years ago, given that I don't think it was in our interests to fight this war (to say nothing of its immorality). But Americans don't like to be told they lost or that they screwed up(Unlike Israelis, who seem to be able to take it), so I can understand why Webb would frame what happened four years ago as a victory.
