This one scares the crap out of me. Does this mean that legislative efforts to rein in corrupt businesses, for example, are foolish and should never be attempted? I think of Dubya's remark that tax loopholes should be left alone because rich people will just hire accountants to find more loopholes. Yes, evil will always lurk, but does that mean we must ignore matter of degree? Or prevelance?
