The fundies always try to argue this one both ways:
1) Homosexuality is unnatural! Only humans are perverse enough to go against the law of nature this way.
2) Wait... animals do it to? Well, who says we have to immitate the animals? Humans are unique in that they can allow moral considerations to trump their instincts.

Up to a fifth of all king penguin couples kept in captivity are gay, we learn from a display of stuffed penguins wearing pink scarves. Hooded seagulls, sea otters, fish, kangaroos, fruit bats, blue jays, storks, pine martens and owls make guest appearances. So does the lowly hedgehog (ouch). Now that's a field trip I would have remembered.
PS: I just grabbed this picture off the net. I don't know if those giraffes are same-gendered or not.
