It's sad when the only group in a conflict that seems to be able to advance their strategic agenda is a terrorist one. Billmon expresses what Maniak has communicated to me in conversation:
The neocons only think they're ruthless Machiavellians willing to do anything to advance their cause -- but by all appearances, [Hezbollah leader] Nasrallah really is one.
