I had forgotten that abortion is still illegal in Ireland. What with all the “Emerald Tiger” talk, I just assumed they modernized their reproductive laws. Oh wait, they’re Roman Catholic. Now I know I’m supposed to be nice to the Roman Catholic Church if App Crit is ever going to post on my blog again. But, really, that organization is responsible for a great deal of messed-upness in this world. Particularly sexist and puritanical messed-upness, which is some of the most annoying kind. I hope the Irish manage to change the laws.
