our curiousity is aroused, and we move
closer together, hoping that we might
explore its message, even as know
that the fire of what we will encounter
will burn us beyond the bone
"BREAK! BREAK!" The murmering
is incessant now, urgently demanding
of us, so gentle and yet powerful
beyond that which we can bear
We Break... open, tears softly falling
humble before Love which had
appeared to us as so dazzlingly
attired in the guise
of our undoing, both our Nemesis
as well as our Saviour
