If symmetries shape reality, test reality with deep symmetries. The smallest emergent scale self-similar constructs are light atoms in periodic crystals. Observe whether otherwise identical single crystal test masses of right-handed versus left-handed alpha-quartz or gamma-glycine violate the Equivalence Principle. One geometric Eötvös experiment removes 60 years of physics’ parity violations, chiral anomalies, symmetry breakings, and dark matter.

Theory, "This is not the solution we are seeking."
Empirical reality, "Tough nuggies."

Always enjoy your book reviews.

Bee:He works mostly with analogies and writes in an engagingly colloquial way with a large dose of humor, though some readers might find the high density of jokes more distracting than helpful*

By analogy and metaphor, jokes have a wake of transmitting subtle information and helps to crystallize information, but in the case of the humor as you have asterisked it, maybe not so funny.

Honestly book reviews before they are published might best be sent through your hands to help make it a really good book?:)

Hopefully there is some information attributed to Leon M. Lederman as well with regard to symmetries. His book, Symmetry and the Beautiful Universe makes for good reading too. A funny story in there as well.

I must say looking back to the beginning of the universe one might also have to consider the symmetry with which the universe began? Anything after that is a asymmetry realization and valuation of what existed in the beginning?

Best,

Plato,

Well, to be honest, when I read the book I thought I had mistakenly been sent a review copy rather than the final version because these are all bugs that I'd have expected an editor to sort out. I haven't read Lederman's books, sorry, can't say anything about it. Best,

B.
