Shockingly, the report finds: "[...] that 12 percent of Americans — 35 million people — could not put food on the table at least part of last year. Eleven million of them reported going hungry at times."

I don't have any problems with food supply but I am not completely surprised because the the minimum wage here (in the US) is very low ($5.15, depends on the state). I don't know much about economics but minimum wage hasn't gone up in years and the prices of course have. Even if the min wage goes up I would be surprised if it went up by much.

Anonymous, I am not claiming someone can't live on the current min. wage (there is no data on that I am aware of) just saying its not the best it could be.
