Bee, don't forget we are working with models smashing atoms and electrons to find and create new particles in quark gluon plasma. But that is still not the beginning. Where did the quark gluon plasma come from >>> from the great big accelerator or collider in the sky. Then Space & Time must have already existed before spacetime. Not sure it makes very much sense to say space and time existed before spacetime. I keep thinking the universe started up Euclidean, but lost a minus sign somewhere. I guess, then you'd have to say in some regions of the universe we have the illusion of evolution. Or an order parameter which we call time.
Time is a funny thing.
Speaking of which, gotta catch my flight. Back to blogging next week. Have a nice weekend,
all the politics around the actual research sometimes make me very very tired. It's hard not to loose your dreams, and not to forget who you are, or want to be.

I don't even know the whole Supertramp album. Maybe I should listen to it some time.
When I was a sixteen year old highschool kid in Santa Barbara, and the cool kids were listening to other stuff, I was listening to Supertramp. Thanks for the memory.
The most memorable thing about supertramp was their exceptional and quite irredeemable lack of physical attractiveness, which no amount of anti-intellectual hippy claptrap could obscure. Emerson, Lake and Palmer, however, could get away with the most preposterous lyrical content and still tickle a girl's fancy.
