As residents and homeowners/taxpayers in the city of Oakridge, we pray that the Lane County authorities take very seriously into consideration the facts outlined by the citizens and Native American descendants of Charlie Tufti and others of the Mollala tribe/Warm Springs. We do not want to see this sacred area defiled by Greg Demers/Ed King/ MacDougall group or any other developers. This area is a wild and scenic preserve of elk, deer and other wildlife. Thank you for your consideration.

We use to own the Jacobie Homestead near Jasper Or. WE had to sell it in 1954 because my father was killed in a logging accident. The ranch has changed a couple of times and now is owned by the McDougal Bros. They striped the ranch of timber/. There was a large indian camp on the ranch and we always thought it was the Winfelly tribe. But now it looks like it might have been a Mollal site. I am 76 now and I can show anyone who is interested where there camp was, graves, caves were. Forrest Byerly
