Too bad it isn't real, since it'd be awesome if it were.

Sadly, this is a viral ad for Ray-Ban...and also fake.

It's a cool ad but a lot of chameleons are very skittish and nervous pets. As an avid lizard lover, I still want one; they are such neat creatures.

Chameleons generally do not change colors in order to match their environments, their color-changing abilities are more closely associated with their mood, temperature, and other factors not having anything to do with the color of their surroundings.

Yeah, definitely fake but still neat. There is a reptile zoo here and the owner has told me that it's possible chameleons change colors to communicate with each other.

My ex-girlfriend had one and it was basically either green or white and never actually camouflaged.

Would be cool if they had done this with an octopus instead.

I had one for a couple of years, and he definitely changed color according to his mood rather than his environment. Dark mottled greens was mad or uncomfortable, bright green with a little yellow around his mouth was happy and content. His strangest color was almost a light blue, and that was when he was really frightened.

He got very dark, then puffed up his body, rocked from side to side and huffed air out his mouth when defending his territory.

You know, this video would be so much more credible if the maker hadn't forgotten to photoshop the parts that are BEHIND the sunglasses... they're still green.

A case for photoshopdisasters.blogspot.com, I say!

I don't think this is "ugly" as much as it is "awesome."
