i have a friend who has a dog like this, it is a disaster! pee, poo, bark when no one is besides him (not even 1 sec), the dog poo and bite ppl, and my friend's family allow the dog to do it because they think it's cute and they think the dog is playing with them. when the dog did something wrong (even bite visitors), they give excuses for themselves not blaming the dog, my friend and his family are spoiling the dog, the dog is 1.5 yr old, but still have to use human hand to feed the dog food, ugly ppl and dog!!!
this dog is not ugly at all; its just wet. i have owned two shih tzu's if trained right they're excellent companion; if spoiled, miss treated or punished they're a night mare.

I have a shih tzu puppy now. its only 3 months. AND THEY ARE NOT UGLY!! its just they are wet and look funny and way too skinny then their actually are, actually they are very cute dogs, with a bit of attitude but you can train them! they are great dogs to have!!!

Jenny sent in this photo of Sue Ling Fey, her Shih Tzu. While no dog looks particularly attractive when bathing, Sue adds a certain amount of charm to the event.
Did you know that the Shih Tzu is a Chinese breed? They were bred during the reign of Empress Dowager Tz'u Shih (hence the name) in the 1800s. Well, now you do know, and you can go into the weekend with one more bit of trivia with which to wow your party guests.
