Fair points, but according to Unseen64 and the article I linked to, Cut Away was due in 1999. And 9/11 was in 2001 wasn't it?

Hmmm, yeah, definitly earlier than 9/11. An ign article mentions that "Microsoft is the company behind the title, having formed a small development team called Classified Games to produce it".

Perhaps with the development of the Xbox, Microsoft chose to hold off on the game so that they could have it on their own console. By the time the Xbox debuted, the Cut Away had disbanded or were absorbed by a larger dev team, leaving the game behind for good.
