Is it ado, adoo, adue or adieu? Who knows.
But one angry person reckons it should be blah blah blah:

Also I just bought THPS2, but it hasn't arrived yet, that'll be something to look forward to as I've only ever played Tony Hawks on my friends ps2 before.

Hrmm... I was never into any of those games... only the Tony Hawk 2x... maybe I just never cared for Xtreme sports... I'd rather be playing Tech Romancer smashing other Mechs with awesome fighting moves! :)

Nice post Nebacha! You've highlightd three games which I've never played before. I have to say Matt Hoffman appeals the most from the bunch, although I quite like the look of Razor Free Style Scooter too...

I had often wondered about MTV skateboarding, but now I think I'll give it a miss...

THPS2 has got to be one of the best games on the Dreamcast and I curse the fact that I left it out of my top ten. It's sublime and has provided me with many happy hours of game play. Definitely a title that stands up to current gen offerings... I also have the GBA port which is pretty faithful to the DC title, for a bit of 'on the go' boarding action...

Excellent post!

I remember pissing around with the Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX demo on one of those Dream On discs for hours, seeing how hard I can make the character crash and flop about with his funny rag doll psychics.

Great insight into the extreme sports on DC, can't go past THPS 1 imo! They've just retired the original developer thankfully- was getting way too far past the simple skating concept of the first few games i think.

Heh. I almost bought the "Xtreme Sports" game that came out in America.

I gotta pick that up if I see it for a decent price.

A Moomin, thanks for the explanation :D

I got to add something about razor freestyle scooter, though. It turns out it's pretty short, only 3 main stages and some "mini-stages" you can unlock :(

Caleb - Sega Extreme Sports is pretty damn good. It's got excellent graphics and plays a decent game too. I'me sure I've written about it on here in the past
