Amazing work. I found the Dreamcast Junkyard after hearing Retro Asylum and then finding Retro Collect, it's wild to read that was so long ago.

Thanks James for twisting my arm to do this. I didn't want a fuss! But yeah, that interview brought up some great memories and we shouldn't forget all the awesome people who make up this community and keep it going. You all know who you are, from the indie devs to the technical wizards to the YouTubers and collectors and contributors. The people who keep playing dreamcast games and keeping the console relevant. And let's not forget all the contributors here who help with the content creation, interviews, podcast, YouTube, social media and all the rest of it. Cheers everyone :)

All hail Tom! The wise and wonderful leader of the Cult of Dreamcast! Excuse me, I need to go and make my daily PS2 sacrifice.

Are you still spending your evenings throwing house bricks at PS2s, PC? I thought we'd discussed this and you were seeking therapy? XD

Nah, I only use sledgehammers now. Actually thinking of starting a YouTube channel called "Smashing PS2s" with daily slomo pS2 smashing videos.

A true "rockstar" of the retro gaming world. My mentor and inspiration. Also the whole reason the DCJY's little brother, The Saturn Junkyard exists. I cannot state strongly enough, how kind, generous and funny the man is, too.
Absolute legend.

A massive congratulations to Tom! His writing on the Junkyard greatly inspired my own. Many thanks to him and all his hard work, and I'm really proud to be part of the Junkyard now too!

Fascinating to hear the origin story of the website and podcast that helped me get through lockdown. I adore this console and the amazing community that surrounds it and to me the Junkyard stands in the very center. Nice one Tom, keep up the good work!!
