Good stuff as usual Tom! I also own both titls, and I'm kind of glad you found Evil Dead as shit as I did.

Being a crap gamer, I never know if it's me or the game that's crap when my usual lack of success with a game kicks in. Hopefully, it's now cleared up that it's the game... *COUGH!*

Kao the Kangaroo was one of the shittiest DC titles I ever bought. I hate 'humorous' games in a Nazi-Scrooge-type way. I hated Monkey Island (sorry Caleb), Sam and Max (sorry Gnome), Ratchet and Clank, Floigan Bros etc. etc. (I know Kao is more like a sub-standard Crash Bandicoot than any of the examples I just gave above, before you beat me down for irrelevent references...)

Perhaps I had a humour by-pass as well as a heart by-pass. Perhaps I'm just a miserable old c**t.

Oh and on the subject of cool new movies, I found 'Zombieland' to be VERY excellent yesterday!

(P.S. Tom, would you mind emailing me? It's the same as always: revsimonearly@aol.com) Cheers!

I've always wanted to get Evil Dead for DC, despite ODCM and every Dreamcast owner warning me not to. I guess it's Bruce Campbell's massive chin. I highly recommend his book "Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way"

I get what FK means about humorous games. I find myself wanting to skip the witty dialog to get to the gameplay, I prefer my lengthy scripted humor in a tv show or movie. Having said that, I really am enjoying Monkey Island on my iPod Touch as it requires minimal reflexes and is the perfect game for those morning train rides to work. Floigan Bros is also excellent, but the repeated gags can get old. Thankfully you can skip through them.
