Nice review!! It shows that you, like every Shenmue real fan, loved to play the game. Shenmue I and II, marked my life, besides from being my favorite games ever, they gave me something special.. something that no other game can give you...

I've had this for over 2 years now, I always get to the look for sailors part and then don't play for a while and accidentally delete my savefile or forget which memory card has it

You shouldn't have played Shenmue II first, Father. Believe me, I've played as I was supposed to, first Shenmue I and then II, and it's much more satisfying, not only because you can follow the story from the very beginning but also because if you play Shenmue I after II you'll miss the improvements of the sequel.

Anyway, I still believe we're going to see a Shenmue III someday, mainly because Yu Suzuki said some time ago in an interview that he definitely wants to finish the story and he plans on doing that with a last game, not a movie or something.

Traemcaster! Do you own a Treamcast? 'Cos you'd be the only person other than me that I know...

Porroe! Great to see you here, I'm heading over to The Hunt right now!

Ah! Nebacha! I know Yu Suzuki said that, but where is it? If they announced a third title on any console, I'd buy that console!

Still, it aint there! A Wii release would result in an embarassing trouser explosion... :)

I only played Shenmue 2 for a few hours...and to be honest I felt a bit overwhelmed by it all. That was months ago, and I havent touched it since. Since I got hold of Deadly Skies, Shenmue 2 holds no appeal to me

OMFG! You guys aren't going to believe this! I don't believe in this myself, it's just to fucking awesome to be true! Anyway, according to ruliweb.com, here are some of the games SEGA is going to present on TGS 2007:

ChuChu Rocket! (Xbox Live Arcade,PC)

Fighters Megamix 2 (Xbox360,PS3)

Jet Set Radio Next (Xbox360,PS3)

Shenmue I & II Plus (Xbox360)

Skies of Arcadia 2 (Wii)

Sonic the RPG (Xbox360,PS3)

Space Channel 5 Part3 (Xbox360,PS3)

Space Channel 5 Showtime (Wii,NDS,PSP)

The House of the Dead 4 (Xbox360,PS3)

Virtua Fighter Kids 2 (Wii)

and...

Shenmue 3 (Xbox360)!!!

The thing is, among these fucktastict games there are some "real" ones, like Sega Rally Revo, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, and such, which at least gives the list some credibility.

Anyway, you can check the whole thing here: http://tinyurl.com/39oogq

So, apparently our fears were confirmed. As I said, it was just too fucking good to be true, and as of now I'm pretty sure the list is a fake.

Well, at least we all were happy for a couple of minutes...

treamcaster, father's not going to respond soon, he's on vacation.

Of course it was fake. I mean, Fighters megamix and Virtua Fighter Kids sequels? Come on, it just screams out "fan-wish-list" which is exactly what it turned out to be.

If they woulda added "Panzer Dragoon" and "Samba de Amgio" then it would have been more obvious.

Sega’s new console to be powered by the crushed dreams and tears of Sega fans?

In an impressive “fake out” someone released a huge list of beautiful lies. Beautiful beautiful lies…

My only hope is that this display of the average Sega fan’s ability to create hope and then have that hope dramatically ground into the dirt will show that Sega can indeed create a console that can be powered by sadness and longing…

...oh so much sadness and longing…
