It's always nice to know that you're not the only Dreamcast fanatic drifting on the tides of the internet. Damn vmu batterys suck, i,ve never put one in a vmu because i guess i dont like handing my money over for something that only last a few hours....

I always just take them out when I am not using them and put them back in.
There are mods to create a different power source for the VMU but I lost the links and can't find the website that showed how to do it.
Still you can sometimes find the correct batteries at photography shops and electronics stores for a decent price. Sometimes they go on sale.
