Nice post! Sonic Adventure was one of my first games for the DC and one I also played to death when I only had the Dream On Vol. 1 demo disk (I had to wait a few weeks before getting my first game - Speed Devils, which was subsequently swapped for Sonic Adventure!)

A lot of people in the Sonic fandom seem to hate Gamma's levels, but I honestly find his section of the game to be one of the highlights, both the gameplay and especially the story which was really heart felt, and his final boss is probably my favorite boss in the entire game.

I could sees a few reasons Gamma's gameplay wouldn't be liked. But that story! So sad. And the music's great too.

" Sonic Adventure was one of them. I couldn't get enough of it. I played it over and over again. Well, not technically... (See, we hadn't gotten memory cards yet, for whatever reason. So I had to restart every time. Naturally, I didn't make much progress, notwithstanding the unskippable cut-scene). Even when I had a memory card, my journey with the game wouldn't end until several years later."

I got a Dreamcast with this game for christmas without a memory card and played it over and over, beat the whole game without saving at least 2-3 times .. took the whole day. eventually we got memory cards.
