Ha ha! No need to apologise mate - I can't even remember yesterday, let alone the post you referred to. However, great first post and welcome aboard the good ship DCJY!

Thanks guys! FK: I sent an envelope full of cash last month! You never got it? Iwrote "CASH" on the outside in big red letters. Oh well...

And ODCM was/is one of the best written game magazines in America. Unbiased articles, huge pages and impressive design. Editor Francesca Reyes and a majority of her moved to the official Xbox magazine, XBN, after ODCM folded. THat too was an awesome magazine, especially the "Xbox in Japan" articles which openly talked about how much Japan hated the Xbox. lol They even sold them in black plastic bags as if they were porn.

I love mags too - I must have about 500 of them in storage going back to the early 1990s. Of all the mags I've been a buyer of though, my favourite has to be N64 Magazine. Sorry!

Please help me out! I have a sleeve for that demo between the two web browsers and the Dreamcast LP, but I cannot figure out what disc belongs to it. I bought it from in a lot and mine had the Dreamcast magazine disc #11.

You talkin' about the Plug In Sign Up sleeve?THat holds the Web Browser 2.0 disc, which is blue and shows two Ethernet cables meeting in the middle. I believe the disc had to be ordered via Sega.net as an upgrade to the browser (for those who didn't already get it in nearly every issue of ODCM).

Aaaah.... I remember when I subscribed for ODCM. It was the first mag I subscribed for. It sucked the only issue I got was the one with Grandia on the front. They never sent me anything else because they went out of business or the death of the DC. I did get a free 6 months to OPM though

"(I went to an art school, so there weren't too many gamers)." Seriously? I went to an art school too and everyone was a gamer... you'd think gaming and art would go together like peanut butter & jelly... :) I think I'm only missing issue 0, the one that came without a disc? Or maybe that was the Official Xbox magazine... hrmm...

I think it depends on the schools specialization. We had no illustration program, which I'd think would bring a lot of gamers. Our school's largest concentrations were painting, photography, art history and fashion. I did know a few folks who "gamed", but it turned out to be DDR freaks.

That makes more sense. We had Illustration, 2d/3d Graphic Design, 2d/3d Animation etc... heck I went there to MAKE games :)
