You know, you could of used the video I ripped from a Dream On demo disc and posted in the Junkyard account, rather than that fake commercial.. in which someone has taken the Soul Calibur ad and slapped Half Life footage over the top. =)
What? This is fake? Wow! who'd a thunk it? Deitrix was perusing DC videos on Youtube and posting them on The Saturn Junkyard... Not much gets past you G-Mann... Why don't you post the real one on top?
Ah, DC Half Life... Much more beautiful than the PC version, but far too difficult to control with just one analog stick and obviously no mouse... Still, a great post FK (part of the credit goes to Deitrix too I guess). Oh, and the graphics of the video must indeed be from the DC version...
I'm presuming that the keyboard and mouse would be the preferred option for gameplay Caleb, getting hold of a copy might be just a case of trawling the net, finding the file and burning it to a CD.... As you did with your SNES emulator... Good luck!
Gnome! thanks for dropping by, glad you enjoyed my mistaken enthusiasm...
To answer the question posed - yep, you can indeed use the keyboard and mouse on DC Half Life...

The Internet...Bloody Marvellous! It allowed me to procure a lovely Treamcast. It allowed me to discover this wonderful 'Yard. It has lead me to discover more about gaming in less than twelve months, than I had known in the preceeding thirty years... and it allowed Tomleecee to procure 'Vapourware', cancelled Dreamcast games that were never released, including Half Life for the DC.(See October's Archive posts.)
Whilst posting a sterling review of this game with screenshots, I thought regular readers might enjoy the somewhat late addition of this little video clip discovered by Deitrix... which has got my Dreamcast juices flowing.
As Tom pointed out recently, it's getting increasingly difficult to find stuff to post about a console that has been 'resting' for 6 years... But we'll keep on trying...
Oh and I will endeavour to play Death Crimson OX enough to write a full review sometime soon.

Can you use the dreamcast keyboard and mouse with DC Halflife?
'Cause it would totally be worth getting a copy if you can.
(Though I still dunno how the hell I could get a copy...)

Mistaken? Why? The footage is very much of the DC version of Half-Life... It's just not the real commercial. So what?
