Very cool! Though the amount of indie shmups is getting kinda crazy. It seems that every time I intend to buy one, a newer better one is announced. I'll probably skip Last Hope and DUX in favor of this. Bring on Spring 2011!
@Barry, I wasn't too impressed with Last hope or DUX, but they were ok Shmups. This sucker here has some AMAZING lighting effects, and it is 3d too thankfully, unlike the last 2 shmups.
This game has been in the works for 6 years, and it shows with the pictures that they put a lot of time and effort into all the little details.
Now, lets hope that Fast Striker comes out this month, or 2010 will be the dryest year ever in the history of Dreamcast comercial releases. At least 1 game has come out consecutively every year since 1998.
Good points Anthony817, also (and this is a minor point) I really like how RedSpotGames packages their games. Line up Wind & Water, Rush Rush and Sturmwind on a shelf and I'm certain they'll look awesome with your official Japanese Dreamcast games. Never was a fan of NG:DEV's DVD cases.
I'm surprised that an RPG or sidescroller hasn't shown up yet. The YuanWorks guys were working on the action game Little Ninja way back when (they've been very quiet for about a year) and there are loads of RPGs out there that could be easily ported to the Dreamcast.
Also, we have Hypertension, and a TON of Half-Life PC mods ported to the Dreamcast if you like FPS games.

Well this came out of no where! Redspotgames have announced a new game for the Dreamcast during an interview on a German TV show (about five minutes in)! Their website is down at the moment but I found the news via Dreamcast Scene. When the site is back up it should be up for pre-order. Can you guess what genre it is?
Why of course it's another scrolling shooter! There is very little footage of the game at the moment but this video does show a bit of it.
There has also been two screenshots via the DCemu forums. I must say it sure looks pretty!

Well, some college kids are developing a 2D RPG for the DC called Elysian Shadows.

Don't forget that Tahi the MMO RPG will be coming out, it has been in the works for a while, but it is doing fine.
