Great article Tom! I am excited for every single one of these games. Hopefully, once SLAVE is released, that means development can resume on Hypertension. I hope they can finish it up, I have followed development for the past 10 years since they were going to be a Blood game. Hell I even beta tested for them testing out the PC builds back in the day. Wish I still had them they were lost due to reformatting and not backing up the data. It wasn't running on DC back then yet at least not the build I tested. Hopefully Coraline and the rest of the team working on it can get the ball rolling and make some progress on it.

Thanks Anthony. Yeah I'm still hopeful we'll see Hypertension as it looked really cool, and the same with Elysian Shadows. I'm not dissing the respective creators - I know Coraline is involved with SLaVE too. Elysian Shadows seem to have stopped doing their YouTube updates about 6 months ago so who knows what happened there.

This article reminded me, I need to cancel my 'SLaVE' preorder. I'm tired of the devs and their lack of communication more than anything else. Nothing against GOAT Store, I actually feel sorry for them. But I don't care about the game anymore.

Also, 'Elysian Shadows' is dead. Let's just be frank about it. Falco is a thief and if we could sue him we should, but that ego-driven cry-baby dumbfuck will never release 'Elysian Shadows' on Dreamcast. Same goes for the 'Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs' dev.

I am looking forward 'Xenocrisis,' 'Xenocider' and 'Intrepid Izzy.' I'm only supporting established DC devs from here on out.

Yeah Falco and that spineless shitcunt behind Saber rider will never deliver what we gave them money for. One doesn't give a fuck and the other is a coward. Both are thieves.

It's because of them that i only ever pledge the bare minimum to any new game now. I don't have much money and actually sold some really rare stuff in order to back Elysian Shadows because i believed in the project that much.. I just don't trust any new projects now thanks to those two.

Totally forgot about Saber Rider. I think further investigation into the status of these titles could be interesting.

Totally looking forward to Intrepid Izzy. I wish all DC projects could hold themselves up to the standards and professionalism as this team does.

Our two Xeno games look great too.

Elysian Shadows is never happening. There is no game there. I don't doubt Falco is doing stuff with his engine/toolset for the game, but no one ever made a game out of it. He's moved on with his life anyways. Living in a new state, with a new job and a new baby. It's never happening, not even his promised notebook scans came to light - which required no more effort than a trip to a printshop.

I love to support indie DC projects, but I will be much more selective in who I give my money to from now on.

No more half assed games, last minute Dreamcast ports for a quick buck, or over ambitious projects.

This also reminds me that I need to get a refund for Slave. Every update for it is a joke. They say its almost done and then disappear for 6+ months. There is zero reason to believe that 2020 will be the year Slave finally gets released.

I'm looking forward to Xenocider and Intrepid Izzy! I'm currently beta testing Xenocider and it's a fun game! The Xenocider guys are totally awesome and very responsive. The Intrepid Izzy demo that I've played is awesome and I can't wait for the full game. Arcade Racing Legends looks very good. I used to love playing racing games on Dreamcast. Man, I would love to see a 3d rpg on Dreamcast someday!

I have to agree with you regarding Girgis. When I contacted him regarding my refund he read my message but did not reply. I waited a whole month until I contacted his girlfriend about that matter. It did only took a few hours until he himself replied to me calling me a narcisstic asshole for doing what I did. He told me he used my "damn money for medicine for his child" but anyway he gave me finally the refund not without calling me names even further. Sorry for his child but that is not what I paid for. He did not see any mistake on his side. Poor guy if you ask me.

Great article,I'm so overwhelmed and glad that public support has driven to a point where there are new games coming for this system and there is a thriving online community. Noall I have to do is get my DC online. Keep up the good work.
