Is it just me, or did they improve the effects in-game? It looks like it's pretty much the effects quality they used in Sonic Adventure 2, not the relatively crappy ones from Sonic Adventure 1.

The XBLA/PSN version of SA1 (so many letters!) is actually a reworking of the PC and Gamecube version which changed some models, textures and effects. Nothing too major, but enough to make to notice a slight difference in quality

Look at Sonic shiny-esque model and separated fingers. It's not Sonic Adventure... it's Sonic Adventure DX!

I just DL'd it, it's actually a bit of both. Menus and all are from SA and the models are from DX. Thus far it has played with a solid 60 fps which is all I really wanted.
