Penpen was not only a UK lanuch title, it debuted with the console at lanuch in Japan too, back in 1998! Impressive stuff.

Oh, btw, the third screenshot you have for Sonic Adventure 2 is in fact from Sonic Adventure DX on the gamecube, just so you know ;p

I knew it wasnt from SA2 - just got sick of looking for decent Dreamcast pics on the net!

Perhaps the Jeep wasn't being repaired in there... Perhaps it was being assembled...

Think on...

I also can't see anything in that third Sonic Adventure screenshot that would indicate that it came from the GC version... Although the point still stands that the screenshot is from SA1...

I didn't know you hung out here Gnome...

Jonic: that's the Gamecube version because the Sonic model is more like the SA2one. If you compare that with the model in the DC version, hee's quite a difference.

jonic...good point, but how the hell do they get it out? This could rage on for decades, so I'll just email Capcom and ask them...

Gagaman: I haven't played the DC version in ages, so I hadn't noticed that... I'll look out for it next time I drag it out :)

Tomleecee: Good point... Ok... Maybe it was parked there, then the building was erected around it, and then it was dismantled to be transported elsewhere when the zombies came along... There should be a whole blog dedicated to this mystery of mysteries...

Gnome: Good for you :) I've been reading here for a while, but this is the first post I thought to comment on, because I really felt I could add something to the conversation with my take on the Jeep quandry...

By the way: Does blogger have a comment notification system at all?

A masterful post although I would re-order those suckers to put Shenmue, Soul Calibur and Jetset Radio in the top 3! Yes DOA is lush but even with huge breast jiggle, the shortcomings in terms of limited playability and storyline development have forever tainted my overall view of the game. God how geeky was that as a response?
