Just a heads up on a typo, it should be written as आर्यावर्तः, not आर्यव्रतम्. Those have rather different meanings; a "व्रतम्" is a vow whereas "अवर्तः" usually mean whirl or even turbulence, but in this context means “place of moving about” (from the same root as वर्तनम्, i.e. turn). Also, technically you don't have vedAdhikAra, as per the veda itself (शूद्रोयज्ञेऽनवक्लृप्तः). That's not to say that only dvija-s can seek sharaNAgati, because not only does shAstra not agree with such a view, but even if it did, the dayA of bhagavAn cannot be restricted to tradition. Also, I suppose the entire purpose of vedAdhikAra has been rather moot since the late 18th century and especially the modern era, given that anyone with access to a library or the internet, as well as a working knowledge of devanAgarI and saMskR^itam, can read the text (albeit not with the correct chhandaH).

Since most of my readers can't read Sanskrit I'll just translate the quip above: śudrayajñe 'navakḷptaḥ 'the sacrifice of a lowlife is unacceptable'.

Caste does not and cannot apply to me. Or to anyone who utterly rejects the basis of casteism, as Buddhists have done for 2500 years now.
