As I understand, Conze just uses Mitra's edition.

Vaidya's edition is fairly popular, but I've never figure out why, it doesn't seem to be superior to Wogihara's in any way, which I personally prefer.

Thanks for the tip about Conze using Mitra. Makes sense.

I think the simple answer is that Vaidya is easier to get hold of. Also Vaidya is digitised and on the internet. Digital also means I can search for keywords which is very helpful.

Is the Wogihara ed you mention the one included in the Abhisamayālaṃkār'alokā?
